Low Finned Tubes add short fin in the tube wall that greatly increase the surface area over smooth tube.  The fins are formed into the tube wall so the outside diameter of the fins are not larger than the pre-finned smooth tube. Rifled Low Finned Tube has the outside diameter surface characteristics of Low-Finned Tubes with the added enhancement of inside diameter rifling. The rifling grooves of the DURA-KR promote turbulant flow and better heat transfer through the tube wall.
